Herdshare members get first access to in-demand items such as eggs, bacon, butter, etc. Our cows produce A2 milk. They are fed organic alfalfa, small amounts of a local non-gmo feed and live on unsprayed pastures. Unlike traditional dairying methods, we do not take the calf away from the cow at birth. Our calves stay with mom until they are a natural weaning age of apx 6 months.

The safety of our milk is paramount. We regularly test our milk and follow the best practices advised by the Raw Milk Institute (RAWMI). These methods include but are not limited to: machine milking, stringent cleaning protocols, and chilling the milk right away in a bulk tank.

Raw milk sales are legal in the state of North Carolina if you own a portion of the animal. This is called a herd share. Herd shares require a $35 one time fee to buy-in. Each monthly subscription entitles you to 1 gallon of milk per week a whole share or 2 gallons a month for a half. If you would like 2 gallons of milk per week, you would need to buy 2 subscriptions. A monthly share fee covers the care and management of the cows, processing the milk, etc. The monthly whole share price is $60 picked up from the farm.. This provides you one gallon per week. The monthly half share price is $30 picked up at the farm and saves you 2 gallons a month or 1 half per week. We currently have availability for Herdshares picked up on Thursdays or Sundays.
